Isn’t Facebook enough?

It’s useful for keeping followers in the loop. Your website gives guests one place to find your menu, hours and booking details, whether they follow you or not.

Who checks menus and allergen information?

You supply and check every dietary and allergen detail. You check the menu before launch and after each change; I put your corrections right within 24 hours.

Will my hygiene rating be shown?

Only live from the official record, or it’s left off. It is never typed in or saved as an old rating. Look up the official rating.

Will the website need a cookie banner?

That depends on what your site uses. The core website counts visits without cookies. Booking tools, chat or other additions are checked for any consent requirements before they’re added.

What if Waymark can no longer look after it?

Your website and domain remain yours. Your complete website can run with another host; ongoing hosting and care would need arranging. Ownership and the handover terms are in the agreement.

Your name above the door

Your website.
Your web address.
Yours to keep.

You own your website and domain from your first payment. Your domain is registered in your name.

A .co.uk or .com costing up to £10 a year is included. A dearer one is charged at cost.

A hello@ address can forward incoming mail to the inbox you already use. It receives only; replies come from your usual address.

Can I keep my existing domain and email?

Yes. Your domain stays yours. I record the existing email settings before changing the website, so your email keeps working.

I’ve lost my domain login. Can you help?

Tell me where it was bought and whose name it’s in. I’ll explain the options for getting access back.
