Compass free-week trial terms

These terms are between you and Waymark, a trading name of Just Cook Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17053705, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You accept them when you tick the box on the sign-up form.

You may sign up only for a pub or venue that you run, or are taking over. Waymark may check this by sending a code to the email address your pub publishes; if we do not hold one, James will check on a call. Some things are held back until that check is done (see "What is held back" below).

The free week. You can use Compass for seven days from sign-up. After that you can look but not change anything for three more days. After that the trial closes, until Waymark extends it for you. We take no payment and we do not ask for a card. Signing up does not oblige you to buy anything, and you will not be charged for the trial.

Your new website. Your new website is not published during the trial. Nothing in the trial changes the website your venue has today.

Changes you make to your draft. In Compass you can change the words and pictures on your website draft. You are responsible for what you put there: it must be true, and it must be yours to use. Waymark checks each change before it goes on your draft, but those checks are not a legal review.

What is held back. During the trial, three things are held until the venue confirms its email address with a code: emails to your guests sent from Compass, voucher buyer emails, and newsletters. Until you confirm, you can prepare them and look at them, but they are not sent.

The chat assistant. During the trial the chat has a daily limit of ten questions, and other AI features in Compass have daily limits too. The limits start again each day.

Messages from us. We may send up to three reminders, on days 1, 5 and 7 of the trial, by text or by email as you chose. To stop them, reply STOP to a text, or reply to the email.

What we keep. We keep what you do in Compass during the trial, so that we can see how you got on before we ring you. We also hold research about your venue that we gathered before or after you signed up, from public sources. It is public information about the venue.

Deleting your data. You can ask us to delete your Compass and your sign-up details at any time. Write to hello@waymarkweb.co.uk.

Ending. You can stop using Compass at any time. We can close the trial if the terms above are not kept.
